Baker Street Productions event Write the Earth aimed to connect people who have a shared interest in creative writing on the topic of climate change. A series of writers shared their ecological work, followed by an informal discussion open all that attended.
We welcomed speakers Clare Diston, Dr Robin Lamboll, Lottie Walker, Gale Burns, and Fiona Glen to share their work. We were also thrilled to be able to share a relaxed reading of an extract from Baker Street’s upcoming audio show about climate change which we are commissioning from two emerging female writers. This reading was performed by students from Leighton Park School and Reading University.
